ERCOFTAC, EDF, and ECCOMAS are organizing a workshop devoted to uncertainty quantification in relation to all fields of application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). This workshop will be held on June 2013, 17th and 18th. This workshop will bring together engineers and scientists from different disciplines using CFD and conducting uncertainty quantification analyses to discuss three main subjects: characterization of uncertainty sources, theory and application of Uncertainty Quantification.
At the end of this workshop, the main purposes are to:
> Propose a benchmark problem to investigate different Uncertainty Quantification methods,
> Agree on a common language concerning different sources of uncertainty,
> Identify the main difficulties that lead to large uncertainties in CFD predictions.
