It can be reached from the festival venue:

  • by train (commuter rail system/Cercanías): Line C5 connects the Madrid city center campus with the Leganés campus. You should board in Embajadores station, direction Atocha/Fuenlabrada/Humanes. The stop is Leganés central. The entrance of the Juan Benet building in calle Sabatini 15 is located at 5 minutes walking distance from the Leganés central station.
  • by taxi or ride-hailing, generally with moderate cost (<20eur).

The participants are expected to make their own arrangement for the transfer to/from Leganés.

  • by Metro: You can use Metro Line 5 and stop at "Puerta de Toledo". This is the recommended way to reach the venue.
  • by train (commuter rail system/Cercanías): You can also use Cercanias lines C1, C5, C7 or C10. The closest stops are Pirámides (C1, C7, C10)
    or Embajadores (C5).

How to get to Madrid:
  • by plane: The airport of Madrid is Adolfo Suárez Madrid - Barajas.
  • by train: The two main stations are Atocha and Madrid - Chamartín - Clara Campoamor, with Mid-Distance, Long Distance, High Speed, and Regional trains connecting Madrid to other Spanish and European cities.
  • by bus: Méndez Álvaro coach station (Estación Sur) and Avenida de América coach station are the main stations with international bus connections. Plaza Elíptica coach station connects Madrid to nearby cities like Toledo.
Downtown Madrid can be reached from the airport by:
  • by Metro: Madrid Airport is connected to the city via Metro Line 8. There is one station at Terminal 4 (T4), and another at T2, the second one serving T1, T2, and T3. Metro line 8 terminates at Nuevos Ministerios, where you can change to line 10 which gets you to the city center. Keep in mind that in order to travel to and from the Airport you need to purchase the airport supplement. The supplement is only valid during the day of purchase.
  • by train (commuter rail system/Cercanías): Lines C1 and C10 connect the airport with the city center (Atocha station). Both lines have a stop at Terminal 4. A free shuttle bus connects T4 with the other 3 terminals.
  • by taxi: The ride from the airport to the city center is set at 30€ and all taxis accept card payments. Taxis are white with red stripes and the city’s emblem on their sides, and are available at all terminals.
  • by bus: You can use Bus Line 203. There are two bus stops located at the Departures and Arrivals levels of T1 and T2, as well as from the T4 bus stand situated at the terminal’s ground level.
