Aim of the Conference:

The aim of the conference is to discuss contemporary problems of fluid mechanics and to bring out latest results obtained in frame of grant projects supported by grant agencies in Czech Republic and abroad. The attendance of experts from academic institutes, technical universities and from other research institutions is assumed. Official language of the conference is English. 

Scope of the Conference:

Scope of the conference covers the whole field of fluid mechanics. Papers on experimental, numerical and theoretical investigations of problems in fluid mechanics are welcome. Also reports on new mathematical and/or experimental approaches to solution of fluid flow problems are of great interest. Participants are should select preferred type of presentation and notify the organizers while submitting the contribution. Time reserved for oral presentation is 20 minutes including a 5 minute discussion. Posters will be exhibited throughout the conference. Time for poster discussion will be scheduled in the programme.

Proceedings Papers:

Papers should be prepared according to Instructions for Authors. Both doc and pdf format of the paper are accepted. Size of the uploaded file should not exceed 10MB. If the paper is written in Tex please upload also source file. All papers will be subject to review process. Papers should be uploaded no later than 22nd December 2025.

Full Papers:

Based on the quality of presented contributions, certain number of authors will be invited to submit the extended, full version of their work for publication in a regular issue of some of the partner journals (DAS, FTAC). The selection of full papers will be made after the conference, by the proceedings editors, in cooperation with the editors of the partner journals. Such invited submissions, will be subject to a standard review and publishing process of the journal.

Please note that paper submission and registration deadlines has been shifted to earlier dates (below) due to review process. The sooner the paper is submitted the better. Review process will start right after the paper is submitted. Therefore, authors needing VISA are encouraged to submit their papers before the deadline. Thank you for understanding.

Conference Fee Payment Details:

The registration fee paid via the bank transfer before 30th January 2026 is:

  • Regular fee - 5700CZK or 235EUR
  • Discounted fee for ERCOFTAC members - 4900CZK or 200EUR
  • Student fee not including book of proceedings - 2800CZK or 115EUR
  • Student fee including book of proceedings - 3600CZK or 150EUR
