The Technology Day 2023 of the PC Germany South and North

Thursday, 20th April 2023

"Internationales Begegnungszentrum der University of Stuttgart" in Germany

The topic is "Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Fluid Mechanics"

The ERCOFTAC Pilot Centre South and North Germany will jointly organize the 16th ERCOFTAC Technology Day on Thursday, April 20, 2023. During the event, members of the both PCs will give presentations on focal points of their work. The topics range:

  • from fundamental fluid mechanics and turbulence research to flows with combustion,
  • flow acoustics to the application of modern flow measurement techniques.

The speakers are experts in their field, who have been publishing papers at an international level for many years. The aim of the event is to improve the exchange of information between the members of the institutions as well as to inform industrial interested parties about technical/scientific developments and innovations in the field of fluid mechanics/thermodynamics. In particular the close contact between research and industry is an essential basis for the technology location Germany.

In recent years, the event has always met with a very good response, with around 100 participants. For companies in particular, the event offers an opportunity to quickly find out about activities in the field of fluid mechanics/turbulence and combustion in Germany.

This year we have a focus on the latest developments and applications of fluid mechanics using Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence algorithm.

Technology Day will be held this year at the "Internationales Begegnungszentrum der University of Stuttgart" in Stuttgart.
The lectures will be held in German or English.

The participation fee:

150,- Euro (75,- Euro for ERCOFTAC members)

This includes coffee breaks and lunch are included. In order to plan the number of meals, it is urgently necessary that participants/presenters
register by email by 12th April 2023.
