7th National Conference on Flow Phenomena

The 7th National Conference on Flow Phenomena was successfully held in Thessaloniki,
12-13 November 2010, organized locally by Prof. Apostolos Goulas of Aristotle University
of Thessaloniki.

This biannual conference was initiated by Prof. G. Bergeles of the National Technical
University of Athens.The meeting was well attended by more than 150 Faculty members,
Postdoctoral researchers and Doctoral students.

Professor Brian Launder of UMIST, Prof. Alex Taylor of Imperial College, and Prof. Nikos Markatos of National Technical University of Athens were main invited speakers.

Professor Nikos Mousiopoulos, vice-President of the Hellenic International University, and
Dean of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, addressed the meeting
on national and european environemtal issues.
