ERCOFTAC and the General Data Protection Regulations

ERCOFTAC aim to offer a transparent view on how we use and store personal data in line with the 

General Data Protection Regulations which took effect in May 2018.


We are obliged to keep your data safe and will  not pass on or sell any data we collect to any other businesses or persons. Your data is used for the sole purpose to keep you updated with the relevant information about ERCOFTAC events, activities and services. 

You may at any time:

  • request the personal information that we hold
  • request for your personal details to be deleted from our database
  • request to unsubscribe to marketing emails

We have updated our database to comply with new legislation.

In order to keep receiving emails and the ERCOFTAC Quarterly from us, you will need to opt-in. If you choose not to opt-in, you'll stop receiving the ERCOFTAC Quarterly and any information/offers emails from ERCOFTAC. Opt-in and you will continue to receive our updates which are NOT promoted online, but only sent in emails. This is a good time to check your membership - make sure all details are up to date.

ERCOFTAC Data Protection Policy your rights when you register for an ERCOFTAC Event

When making a booking or attending one of our industrial courses it is necessary for us to process your name, address, email, and telephone number and any relevant information to the booking. This information is required so that we can provide you with an invoice, a booking confirmation and any updated details on the event.

We may contact you in the future to:

  • Send you our Quarterly Newsletter
  • Give you updates on our activities, workshops, summer schools and special events
  • Offer our services again.

You can unsubscribe from our direct marketing at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any of our emails or email to: admin@cado-ercoftac.org to request your email address withdrawal.
