We are pleased to announce the upcoming Lecture Series on “Fundamentals and recent advances in Particle Image Velocimetry and Lagrangian Particle Tracking” at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics.
The event is supported by ERCOFTAC, with special fare for PhD students (30% discount)
from ERCOFTAC member institutions joining on-site.
The lecture series will be held from Monday, 15th November to Thursday, 18th November 2021, in hybrid online/on-site format, with lectures given by well-renowned experts of the PIV community. Please find complete information on the program and lecturers here:
For participants on-site, if allowed by COVID-19 regulations, the event will include a visit to the laboratory and a demo.
The lecture series will host a poster session, which will allow the participants to further exchange ideas and interact with the lecturers. All the participants are encouraged to submit a 1-page abstract before November 1st to Ms. Evelyne Crochard, crochard@vki.ac.be.
The steps to obtain the special discount for ERCOFTAC PhD students joining the event on-site is described below:

- Once done, please send an email to secretariat@vki.ac.be to inform them that you wish to obtain the discount. You will receive back a discount code.
