Workshop: Progress in wall turbulence - understanding and modelling

21st – 23rd April 2009

Lille, France

The aim of the workshop is to bring together world specialists of near wall turbulence and to stimulate exchanges between them around up-to-date theories, experiments, simulations and numerical models. For that purpose, the partners of the WALLTURB Consortium will present the main results of their 4 years of joint research and researchers from all over the world are invited to participate. WALLTURB is a joint research project, funded by the EC under FP6, which gathers 16 partners from Academia, research organisations and industry.

Invited speakers:

• P. Spalart, Boeing Commercial Airplane Co, Seattle, USA
