Aim and Scope

The thematic school “New Challenges in Turbulence Research II” aims at conveying the core knowledge of the advanced understanding of turbulence to researchers in different fields. For this, a series of comprehensive courses will be given by 16 invited speakers. The expected audience includes PhD students, postdocs, as well as junior and senior researchers from different communities.

Courses will be given in the following four axes:

   • Anisotropic and/or inhomogeneous turbulence

   • Transport of material particles

   • Cryogenic turbulence

   • Theories and models
